First level speakers and authorities in the FEINDEF forum and conference programme
The main national and European Defence and Security authorities have confirmed their participation in the programme of Forums and Conferences of the first International Defence and Security Exhibition (FEINDEF). During the 29th, 30th and 31st of May, military and civil authorities will offer an overview of the main challenges in the sector.
On the first day (29 May), the Chief of Defence Staff, Army General Fernando Alejandre, will be in charge of giving the first lecture entitled "Armed Forces and Technology, Moving Forward into the Future" in the Tecnobit Conference Room. Afterwards, the Director of Armament and Material (DIGAM), Admiral Santiago Ramón González, and a high representative of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism will present the document "Perspectives of the Defence Industry" elaborated by both ministries and with which it is intended to define the lines of improvement and measures of action applicable to the same, as well as the possibilities and needs of the future, in the new European environment.
Later, DIGAM will inaugurate the workshop promoted by the European Defence Agency (EDA), which will be closed by the director of the Agency, Jorge Domecq. This aims to promote cross-border partnerships between the European shipbuilding industry to develop and maintain the EU's defence capabilities and ensure Europe's strategic autonomy.
Cybersecurity, on the 30th, will also play an important role FEINDEF, with a round table preceded by the intervention of the Secretary of State-director of the National Intelligence Centre, Félix Sanz Roldán.
High level forums
In addition to the conferences, the programme includes three Forums with topics of maximum current interest. The Employment Forum, aimed mainly at military personnel in situations of special availability and directors of Human Resources of companies, will include the Director General of Recruitment and Civil Education, Amparo Valcarce, and the Deputy Director General of Institutional Relations and Legal Assistance of the State Public Employment Service (SEPE), María Antonia Agudo.
In the Innovation Forum called Defence & Security innovation Brokerage (DSiB), which will be inaugurated by DIGAM, 20 innovation projects will be presented, and the Women's Forum will have the participation of the High Commissioner for Agenda 2030, Cristina Gallach, and the former United Nations advisor and member of the International Women's Forum, Susana Malcorra.
Companies, representatives of the Armed Forces and of the Administration will participate in the three forums with the aim of sharing the different approaches and defining the challenges and needs of the future.
