CETEDEX is a technological and industrial development project promoted by the City Council of Jaén, the Government of Spain and the Provincial Council of Jaén, and is based on three technological pillars.

On the one hand, the anti-drone defense systems, consisting of a complete system with detection and neutralization capabilities, a controlled radiation area and a flight and sensor installation area.

On the other, the development of autonomous and intelligent vehicles with testing and certification capabilities for advanced driving assistance systems for military, industrial and agricultural vehicles.

The third pillar will promote artificial intelligence, carrying out activities such as automatic and intelligent analysis of large volumes of data, development of technologies for predictive maintenance, analysis of multiple sources of information and biometric technologies applications.

The project will also encourage collaboration between the Ministry of Defense, Universities, Technology and Research Centers and companies, as well as cooperation with the European Defense Union, with the aim of transferring knowledge and technology, and incorporating new scientific and technical capabilities to those already existing at INTA.
